Justice, The Right of every alive as well as every Man. All alive or creature in Nature are God gifted & all deserve freedom & justice in life. But very disappointing that Life of wisest creature of the Earth seems short for justice in life as justice is too much delay nowadays just due to lengthy process or not understandable circumstances.
Let’s see some facts about justice and its process. Increasing population and shortage of resources & job already making situation miserable of people. There is competition for everything among the People & people are fighting to get everything and in this situation some people at some points are in a serious situation and they move towards court for justice. Helpless person always quotes to opposite party that “I will see you in court” but in nowadays this sentence seems just for His own consolation only as person know well justice is far away from middle class people. As We see only High-profile cases running fast with media news but what about rest? Rest not need timely justice? Is government also helpless to provide any kind of help to middle class or poor people for getting timely justice.
Is this delay in justice due to lengthy process or lethargic approach of system or shortage of Judges or case handling inability of Judges?? I am sure that all these things are involved in this too much delay justice.
Shortage of Judges is accepted as per demand of judges by Law Commission of India to smooth the things. But what about the cases are running since years and result is still awaited? Very disappointing and surprising that people are not alive now in this world but the cases in court still running reported by all those people since more than 40 Years. What you will say this? Shortage of judges or inability of justice in judges? Seems like there is no humanity alive in system for people & their justice. This lengthy case is in my own family and there are so many cases in whole the country in wait of results since years. Unable to understand that for what judges or system are looking to get or find out which they can’t make clear during those people time when they all were alive and got dead without get justice, here life has been decided short to get justice. And there are so many lives are going to be short for justice just due to the process or court case like in such way.
What kind of imagine you will get on pendency more than 50000000 (>5 Crore) cases in country? Still people should keep faith in system & believe in justice through court case? Don’t be surprise if I want to say for “back toward the village system” where maximum cases have been closed already through the system of our rites & culture just due to respect of elders and obey them. In civil justice India’s ranked is 114th/143 countries according Rule of Law Index 2025, what can be miserable than this? Many prisoners are waiting for justice behind the bars & another side people are waiting for final punishment of them for justice and in this way, both are far away from justice in regards of so many pending cases in country.
So much delay in making decisions not just due to lengthy process and in absence of evidence is a serious note/question mark on ability of Judges & judiciary system. Nirbhaya like cases takes more than 07 years is shameful for all human being. RG Kar Medical College Case still running since more than 01 year and there is only 1 accused found till time in such brutal case, shame for all of us. These are High profile cases away from justice. Case of land purchase or distribution is normal in nowadays and system is making them running in years despite availability of person & evidence.
Just want to focus that if every case is dependent on behalf of evidence, then is there any timeline of evidence submission or making case long in years only option till death of person in waits for justice. After death is there any means of justice for the person who waits in his whole life that system will give him justice? Definitely life is short and going to be short further as justice is making distance day by day as well as court cases are increasing only and system is unaware about this or don’t want take it seriously. And this system of justice running in nowadays totally is fail and going to be fail further also if correctives not taken asap. If people are involved in murder just due to land distribution or blackmailing then there is a major role of our system for justice as you will always find a running case between them before such brutal fight and it is just due to delay in justice or decision.
Just wants a msg that We should keep the things normal and should take decisions wisely before step towards court case considering its impact (Lost of time & money due to delay decisions in years). Your own discussion, wisely decisions, support & believe of neighbors can make things better than court case. For rest cases our judiciary system should take correctives and should fasten the decision ASAP for gain or avoid lose faith of people further.
